We just had an amazing time at our last get together for this school year with 20 of our closest friends.  Most of them are studying at Iowa State University and have been attending our discussion groups.  They enjoyed riding the zip line, playing air hockey, and joining in some group games.  Most of them will be leaving for home in two weeks after they finish final exams.  We look forward to having them back in mid-August for the start of another school year.

II Timothy 2: 1,2

  “You, then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men (and women) who will be able to teach others also.”

One group of young saints on the campus of Iowa State University brings great joy to us!  It is the International Timothy Team.  These young believers have been growing in the Lord for more than a year and are just beginning to reach out to their friends and classmates.  Each Sunday evening we meet together for two hours to fellowship, share the living Word together, and learn a new skill such as memorization of all the books of the Bible and key verses, prayer, and how to share the plan of salvation with others.

What a joy to see them become grounded in the faith!

Would you join us in praying for these dear ones who face difficulties with language and stresses with family and friendships because of their newfound faith?  We are encouraging them to share their love for the Savior with other faithful men and women who will be able to teach others also.
